Hello friends! I know it's been a while since I posted, but big changes happened in my life. I accepted a new leadership role on the east coast in Philadelphia. This presentation below is how it all began: Reimagining Philly by Jean Darnell Which led to this... And this... So, there you have it. I'm a Library Director in Philadelphia! Here are a few pictures of me in action: Don't worry, I will get back to my AI adventures in 2025. You can still catch me at TCEA 2025 as a conference presenter in February and I will be a SXSWEdu in March!

I thank you for your time and attention. Below is the live-stream of my presentation. Please enjoy. SCAN THE QR CODE to have your own copy of the slides! 🤓

In my thousands of hours of research in generative artificial intelligence (gAI), there's a glaring bias and misrepresentation of female voices. Don't just believe my word for it, take a look at these articles: There Is No Standard: Investigation Finds AI Algorithims Objectify Women's Bodies Artificial intelligence in education: Understanding its impact and ethical implications in K-12 learning environments. Are AI Hiring Tools Racist or Ableist? If you let the data tell it, "this is a man's world." But as the r...
